Individuals with low socioeconomic status (low income, low/no employment, low education, single, social security benefits) report more ACEs. In Agder, child poverty has increased by 300% over the last 20 years (2021). Agder generally scores poorly on living conditions statistics. The study shows:

  • Children of divorce have more ACEs
  • Women report more experience with ACEs than men
  • Single people statistically have more ACEs than those who live with a partner
  • Those with low levels of education have more ACEs
