The Norwegian Triple S Study<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Norwegian Triple S Study is conducted by the Stine Sofie Foundation in collaboration with the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, with contributions from the University of Bergen and the National Centre for Knowledge on Violence and Traumatic Stress. The study is a longitudinal health survey of children and adolescents who have been exposed to violence and abuse, as well as their caregivers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study follows the children over time and utilizes information from both the children themselves and their caregivers. The purpose is to identify protective and risk factors, as well as to investigate the long-term consequences of violence and abuse in childhood. <\/p>\n\n

In the long term, the project will contribute to a better understanding of how early exposure to violence and abuse affects health and quality of life throughout the lifespan.<\/p>\n\n
